Almora LED Small Cylinder Alabaster Wall Light - Brass

The Almora Small is a 260mm wall light built around two stacked cylinders of natural Spanish alabaster, each 80mm in diameter, separated by a brushed brass band and capped at top and bottom with matching brass trims. An integrated 7W LED at 3000K sits behind the stone, casting warm light upward and downward through the cylinders so the alabaster itself becomes the diffuser.

The fitting mounts on a slim rectangular brass backplate against the wall, with an 85mm width and a 110mm projection that keeps it close to the surface. This compact footprint makes the Almora suited to use in pairs flanking a bed, either side of a bathroom or hallway mirror, or repeated along a corridor where the vertical proportions reinforce the architecture without crowding the wall.

The body is constructed from solid copper finished in brushed brass, giving the metalwork weight and a warm tone that sits comfortably against the pale stone. Each alabaster cylinder shows different mineral veining and tonal variation depending on the section of stone it was cut from, so paired fittings will not look identical when lit. The 230V integrated LED removes the need for a separate bulb and gives an even glow across both cylinders.

Does the Almora come with a bulb?

Yes. The Almora has an integrated 7W LED rated at 3000K (warm white), so no separate bulb is required. The LED is built into the fitting and not user-replaceable.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

The Almora is not supplied with an IP rating in the specification, so it is intended for general indoor use rather than bathroom zones. For wall lighting in bathrooms, choose a fitting with a confirmed IP44 or higher rating.

Will paired fittings look identical?

No. Each alabaster cylinder is cut from natural Spanish stone, so the veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural material rather than a defect, and is most visible when the LED is lit.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth, and avoid household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but do not soak the stone.
