Althia LED Alabaster Wall Light - Brushed Brass & Soft White

The Althia is a 571mm dual-disc alabaster wall light built around two circular discs of natural Spanish alabaster, mounted vertically on a brushed brass spine with a matching circular wall plate. Each disc is fixed to the central rod with two visible brass screw heads, which sit flush against the stone face and form part of the design. An integrated LED behind each disc casts warm 3000K light through the alabaster.

Designed as decorative wall lighting for living rooms, hallways, stairwells and bedside positions, the Althia projects a soft pool of light both upwards and downwards from each disc. The 203mm width keeps the fitting close to the wall, so it suits narrower corridors and landings where projecting fittings would obstruct the walking line. Mounting is via the central brass back plate onto a standard wall box.

Each alabaster disc is cut from a single piece of stone, so the veining and translucency vary between discs and between individual lights. When unlit, the discs read as pale marbled stone against the warm brass; when lit, the natural veining becomes visible as the LED light passes through the alabaster. The brushed finish on the brass softens reflections and pairs with both warm-toned and neutral interiors.

Does the Althia come with bulbs included?

Yes. The Althia uses integrated LEDs at 3000K (warm white), so no separate bulbs are required or replaceable. The LEDs run on standard 230V mains.

Is it suitable for hallways and bedside positions?

Yes. At 571mm tall and 203mm wide, the Althia projects only a short distance from the wall, which suits hallways, stairwells and bedside positions where a deeper fitting would obstruct movement. The dual-disc layout casts light both upwards and downwards along the wall.

Does each alabaster disc look the same?

No. Each disc is cut from a single piece of natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between discs. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Alabaster is porous and softer than marble, so avoid household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but do not soak the stone.
