Althia LED Alabaster Wall Light - Brushed Brass

The Althia is a 305mm alabaster wall light pairing a rounded natural Spanish alabaster diffuser with a half-cup brushed brass backplate bisected by a horizontal brass disc. An integrated 8W LED inside the alabaster casts warm 3000K light through the stone, while the brass cup behind the diffuser reflects light back outward and the upper disc catches uplight along the wall.

Designed for hallways, stairwell walls, bedside positions and feature wall arrangements, the Althia sits 220mm tall and projects 180mm from the wall. The compact footprint suits narrow circulation spaces where a deeper fitting would intrude, and the soft 3000K output works as ambient or accent light rather than task brightness. The fitting hardwires to the mains at 230V and mounts to a standard wall back box.

Each alabaster diffuser is cut from natural Spanish stone, so the veining and tonal variation differ between individual pieces. The brushed brass finish on the solid copper backplate and intersecting disc gives a soft, low-sheen warmth that pairs with the alabaster without competing for attention. The half-moon geometry, paired with the egg-shaped diffuser sitting proud of the brass, gives the fitting a sculptural profile that reads cleanly from oblique angles along a corridor.

Does it come with a bulb?

Yes. The Althia has an integrated 8W LED rated at 3000K (warm white) on 230V mains, so no separate bulb is required. The LED is built into the fitting rather than user-replaceable.

Is the Althia dimmable?

The integrated LED runs from 230V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model — please contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm the LED driver is suitable.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

The Althia is not supplied with a bathroom IP rating, so it should be installed in dry interior locations such as hallways, bedrooms, living rooms and stairwells rather than within bathroom zones.

Yes. Each diffuser is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual fittings. This is a feature of the natural material rather than a defect, and is most visible when the light is switched on.
