Arelis LED Linear Alabaster Wall Light - Brushed Brass

The Arelis is a 600mm vertical wall light built from two stacked cylinders of natural Spanish alabaster, held within a slim brushed brass back-plate and end caps. An integrated 16W LED runs the length of the fitting at 3000K, casting warm light through the stone so the alabaster itself becomes the diffuser. The brass spine behind the cylinders catches a secondary glow, giving the fitting a defined edge against the wall.

At 600mm tall, 80mm wide and projecting 100mm from the wall, the Arelis suits flanking positions either side of a bed, mirror or hallway artwork, and works as a vertical accent in stairwells with double-height walls. The slim 80mm width means it fits comfortably between door frames and on narrower wall runs where a wider sconce would feel crowded. Mounted in pairs, it gives symmetrical column-style lighting without the bulk of a full pillar fitting.

Each alabaster cylinder is cut from a single block, so the veining and tonal variation differ from piece to piece and become more pronounced when the LED is lit. The brushed brass back-plate has a low-sheen finish that softens reflections and pairs with both warm-toned interiors and cooler stone-and-plaster schemes. A central brass band separates the upper and lower cylinders, breaking the run visually and reinforcing the architectural rhythm of the fitting.

Is the Arelis suitable for a bathroom?

No IP rating is specified for this fitting, so it should be installed in standard interior locations rather than bathroom zones. For mirror or vanity lighting in a bathroom, choose a fitting with a confirmed IP44 or higher rating.

Does the alabaster vary between pieces?

Yes. Each cylinder is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual pieces and across the two cylinders within a single fitting. This is a feature of the natural stone.

Can it be mounted horizontally?

The Arelis is designed to be wall-mounted vertically, with the brass back-plate running top to bottom and the LED driver positioned at the base. Horizontal mounting is possible structurally but is not the intended orientation and may affect cable entry alignment.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Wipe the alabaster cylinders gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners, as alabaster is porous and softer than marble. For the brushed brass frame, a dry cloth is sufficient for routine dusting.
