Arelis LED Vertical Alabaster Wall Light - Brushed Brass

The Arelis is an 800mm vertical wall light built around three cylindrical sections of natural Spanish alabaster, held within a slim brushed brass frame with circular brass end caps and two intermediate brass rings. An integrated 16W LED running the full length of the fitting casts warm 3000K light through the stone, so the alabaster itself becomes the diffuser rather than a separate shade.

The slim 80mm width and 100mm projection allow the Arelis to sit comfortably either side of a bathroom mirror, flanking a bedhead, or running vertically alongside a hallway artwork. The vertical format suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, where the 800mm height reads as architectural rather than oversized. The fitting is hardwired to 230V mains and replaces a standard wall light backbox.

Each alabaster section shows different mineral veining and tonal variation depending on the block of stone it was cut from, so the three cylinders within a single Arelis rarely look identical when lit. The brushed brass frame runs behind the alabaster as a continuous rear channel, with three brass collars at the top, middle and bottom that physically hold the stone sections in place. The brushed finish softens reflections and pairs the warm brass tone with the cream of the lit alabaster.

Can the Arelis be used in a bathroom?

No IP rating is listed for this fitting, so it should be installed outside bathroom zones unless an IP rating is confirmed in the Specification tab. For mirror lighting in zone 2 or zone 3 of a bathroom, please contact us before purchase to confirm suitability.

Can it be mounted horizontally above a mirror?

Yes. The Arelis is symmetrical end-to-end, so although it's primarily designed as a vertical wall light it can be installed horizontally above a mirror or artwork. The hardwired connection point is concealed at the rear of the fitting and works in either orientation.

Is the LED replaceable?

The 16W 3000K LED is integrated into the fitting and is not designed to be user-replaceable. With a rated lifespan typical of integrated LED fittings, the light source is intended to last the working life of the wall light.

Does the alabaster vary between pieces?

Yes. Each of the three cylindrical sections is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between sections and between individual fittings. This is a feature of the natural stone, not a defect.
