Aurelian LED Double Column Alabaster Wall Light - Brushed Brass

The Aurelian is a 560mm double-column alabaster wall light built around two slender vertical rods of natural Spanish alabaster, mounted above and below a brushed brass bracket with a rounded oblong backplate. An integrated 8W LED runs at 3000K through both columns, lighting the stone from within so the alabaster itself acts as the diffuser.

The fitting projects 90mm from the wall and measures just 75mm wide, which keeps it close to the surface and suitable for hallways, stairwells, bedside positions and either side of a bathroom or dressing-room mirror where a wider wall light would crowd the space. The vertical format throws light up and down the wall in two soft columns rather than a single pool, drawing the eye along the height of the room and pairing well with taller ceilings.

Each alabaster column is cut from natural stone, so the mineral veining and tonal variation differ between fittings and shift in appearance once the LED is switched on - the matte stone takes on a gentle translucency under illumination. The brushed brass bracket and backplate are finished with a low-sheen texture that picks up warm tones in the room without throwing harsh reflections, and the solid copper construction behind the brass plating gives the fitting weight and rigidity at the wall.

Does it need a separate bulb?

No. The Aurelian uses an integrated LED rated at 8W on 230V mains, with a 3000K warm-white colour temperature. The light source is built into the alabaster columns and is not user-replaceable.

Is it suitable for a bathroom?

This fitting does not list an IP rating in the specification, so it should be installed in dry indoor locations such as hallways, bedrooms, living rooms and stairwells rather than within bathroom zones where an IP-rated fitting is required.

Will the alabaster look identical to the photograph?

Each column is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the mineral veining, tone and translucency vary between individual pieces. The general silhouette and finish match the image, but the exact veining pattern is unique to each fitting.

Can it be installed horizontally?

The Aurelian is designed as a vertical wall light with one alabaster column above the bracket and one below. It can be mounted horizontally on installation, though the visual effect and light distribution are designed around the vertical orientation shown.
