The Aurelian is a 1270mm linear chandelier built from a stack of crossed metal arms in matt black, each arm tipped at both ends with a cylindrical baton of natural Spanish alabaster. The arms sit at varying heights around a central drop rod, forming a layered, asterisk-like silhouette. Integrated LEDs inside the alabaster batons run at 40W total on 230V mains and emit warm 3000K light that glows through the stone rather than from a visible bulb.

Designed for modern dining rooms, open-plan kitchens above an island, and longer hallway or stairwell positions, the Aurelian's 1270mm span suits tables and islands of 1.6m or longer. The 360mm body height plus a 1000mm adjustable suspension cable means the fitting works in rooms with ceiling heights from around 2.5m up to taller double-height voids, with the cable shortened or left full-length on installation to set the desired drop above the surface.

The arms are finished in matt black with a low-sheen powder coat that minimises reflections and reads as a graphic line against ceilings and walls. Each alabaster baton is cut from natural Spanish stone, so veining and translucency vary between batons and the chandelier shows tonal differences across its twelve light points when lit. The horizontal, layered geometry gives the fitting a long, low presence that suits rooms where a tall traditional chandelier would feel out of place.

Does the Aurelian come with bulbs?

Yes. The light source is an integrated LED rated at 40W total on 230V mains, with a 3000K warm white colour temperature. There are no separate bulbs to buy or replace.

What size room or table does it suit?

With a 1270mm horizontal span, the Aurelian suits dining tables and kitchen islands of around 1.6m or longer, and rooms of approximately 4m x 4m or larger. Above a dining table the body is typically hung 700-800mm above the table surface.

Can the drop be adjusted for lower ceilings?

Yes. The fitting body is 360mm high with a 1000mm adjustable suspension cable above. The cable can be shortened during installation, allowing the chandelier to work in rooms with ceiling heights from around 2.5m upwards.

Is the alabaster identical on every piece?

No. Each baton is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, tone and translucency vary between batons and between individual chandeliers. This natural variation is part of the material rather than a fault.
