Aureline LED Alabaster Column Wall Light 500mm - Soft White

The Aureline is a 500mm alabaster column wall light formed from a single sleeve of natural Spanish alabaster wrapped around a brass internal frame. An integrated 5W LED runs the length of the column and casts warm 3000K light through the stone, so the alabaster itself becomes the diffuser rather than a separate cover or lens. The fitting projects 80mm from the wall on an 80mm-wide footprint.

Designed for hallway runs, stairwells, bedside positions and bathroom-adjacent corridors, the slim vertical form fits comfortably between doorways or on narrow pier walls where a wider fitting would feel crowded. The 500mm height suits ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards and works well mounted at roughly eye level beside a bed or in pairs flanking a mirror, console table or artwork.

Each alabaster sleeve shows different mineral veining and tonal variation depending on the section of stone it was cut from, so the lit pattern across two paired Aureline lights will never be identical. The brass internal frame adds structural rigidity to the natural stone and gives the fitting a defined edge along its top and base. The 230V mains supply terminates in the wall behind the fitting, with no visible cable run.

Is the Aureline suitable for bathrooms?

The Specification tab does not list an IP rating, so the Aureline is intended for general indoor use rather than bathroom zones. It can be used in a corridor or dressing area adjacent to a bathroom, but should not be installed within Zone 1 or Zone 2 of a wet area.

Does the alabaster vary between pieces?

Yes. Each sleeve is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual pieces. When two Aureline lights are mounted as a pair, the lit pattern will be similar in character but not identical.

Is the LED replaceable?

The 5W LED is integrated rather than user-replaceable. The 2 year warranty covers the LED module against failure during normal domestic use.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners — alabaster is porous and softer than marble.
