Aureon LED 1m Alabaster Ring Chandelier - Brushed Brass

The Aureon is a 1000mm alabaster ring pendant light built from a continuous circular section of natural Spanish alabaster, held by four brushed brass brackets and suspended from fine steel cables. An integrated 70W LED runs around the inside of the ring, casting warm 3000K light through the 80mm-thick alabaster section so that the stone itself becomes the lit surface.

Designed for open-plan dining rooms, double-height entrance halls and large lounges, the Aureon works best above a circular or oval dining table seating six to ten, or as a central piece over a stairwell void. The 1500mm cable drop is adjustable on installation, and the symmetrical ring sits flat to the ceiling plane, so it reads cleanly from below as well as from upper floors looking down.

Each section of alabaster is cut from natural Spanish stone, so the veining, mineral pattern and tonal variation differ between individual pieces. The 80mm stone section gives the ring a substantial, sculptural profile rather than the thin-line look of acrylic LED hoops, and the brushed brass clamps are kept narrow so they read as detail rather than structure. The brass and warm white alabaster pair comfortably with both period interiors and contemporary neutral palettes.

What size room does the Aureon suit?

At 1000mm in diameter, the Aureon is sized for larger rooms, open-plan dining areas, double-height halls and lounges of around 4m x 4m or larger. It works well over a round or oval dining table seating six to ten, with the bottom of the ring around 700-800mm above the table surface.

Does the alabaster vary between pieces?

Yes. The ring is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, mineral pattern and translucency differ between individual lights. This is a feature of the natural stone, not a defect, and means each Aureon has its own pattern when lit.

Is the cable length adjustable?

The Aureon ships with 1500mm of suspension cable, which can be shortened on installation to set the ring at the correct height for the room. The fine steel cables keep the visual focus on the alabaster ring itself.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth, and use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water for any stubborn marks. Avoid household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners, which can stain or etch the stone.
