Avelora LED Capsule Alabaster Wall Light - Brass

The Avelora is a 600mm vertical capsule wall light built around a central panel of natural Spanish alabaster, framed by a perforated brass surround in a matching elongated capsule outline. Two small brass disc fixings sit symmetrically along the centre line of the alabaster, anchoring the panel to the brass backplate. Light is provided by G9 lamps behind the stone, diffusing warm 3000K illumination through the alabaster face.

At 600mm tall and 200mm wide, the Avelora suits hallway runs, stairwell walls, bedroom flanking positions either side of a bed, and bathroom vanity walls where a vertical light source is needed. The capsule proportions read as architectural rather than decorative, so the fitting works as a pair flanking a mirror or doorway as readily as a single piece on a feature wall. Hard-wired installation to a standard UK back box.

The brass surround carries a fine perforated texture across its full face, catching ambient light differently to the smooth polished alabaster panel it frames. This contrast between the dotted metallic field and the solid stone centre is the defining detail of the design. The natural alabaster shows mineral veining and tonal shifts between ivory, cream and faint warm undertones, so each panel carries a different pattern when lit. Combined weight is supported by the brass backplate fixed to the wall.

What bulb does it take?

The Avelora uses G9 capsule lamps behind the alabaster panel. The exact number and wattage is shown on the Specification tab. G9 LEDs in 3000K warm white are recommended to match the intended light tone of the fitting.

Where does it suit best?

The vertical 600mm capsule format works well in hallways, stairwell walls, bedrooms either side of a bed, and as vanity flanking lights in bathrooms (subject to local IP zone requirements). It can be fitted singly on a feature wall or as a pair flanking a mirror or doorway.

Does the alabaster vary between pieces?

Yes. Each panel is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, tonal shifts and translucency differ between individual fittings. Variation is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect.

How is it installed?

The Avelora is a hard-wired wall light fitted to a standard UK back box via the brass backplate. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician in line with current wiring regulations.
