Avelora LED Capsule Alabaster Wall Light Small - Brushed Brass

The Avelora Small is a 325mm x 200mm capsule wall light built around a natural Spanish alabaster panel set into a perforated brushed brass surround. Two visible brass fixing studs run vertically down the face of the alabaster, holding the stone against the back plate. The fitting takes a G9 lamp (sold separately), with the alabaster acting as the diffuser to give a warm 3000K glow when paired with a warm-white bulb.

Designed for hallways, bedside walls, dressing areas and bathroom walls outside zones 1 and 2, the slim 200mm width keeps the fitting close to the wall and suits narrower wall sections where a wider sconce would crowd the surface. The capsule orientation is vertical as standard, framing the alabaster as a tall slim panel rather than a horizontal bar, which works well flanking a mirror or stacked above a console.

The brass surround is finished with a fine perforated mesh texture that catches and softens light at the edges of the fitting, giving a halo effect around the alabaster when the lamp is on. Each alabaster panel shows different veining and tonal variation, with warm ivory and faint golden tones moving across the stone. The solid copper and alabaster build gives the fitting a substantial feel without the bulk of a larger wall light, sitting roughly 60-80mm proud of the wall.

Does the Avelora come with a bulb?

No. The fitting takes a G9 lamp which is sold separately. For the warm glow shown in the product imagery, pair it with a 3000K warm-white G9 LED bulb.

Can it be mounted horizontally?

The capsule shape is symmetrical along its long axis and can be installed vertically or horizontally depending on wall position. Vertical orientation is the typical fit, particularly for bedside or hallway use.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

This wall light does not carry a published IP rating, so it should not be installed inside bathroom zones 1 or 2 (close to a bath or shower). It can be used on bathroom walls outside these zones, such as next to a mirror over a vanity area.

Why does each piece look slightly different?

The diffuser is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, tonal variation and translucency vary between individual panels. This is a feature of the natural stone, not a defect, and becomes most visible when the light is switched on.
