Averna LED Framed Alabaster Wall Light - Brushed Brass

The Averna is a 600mm tall framed alabaster wall light built around two stacked cylinders of natural Spanish alabaster, held within a brushed brass frame and joined by a central brass collar. An integrated 8W LED runs through the alabaster columns, casting warm 3000K light through the stone so the alabaster itself acts as the diffuser rather than a separate shade.

The fitting is designed for hallways, stairwells, bedside flanking pairs and living room wall positions where a vertical light feature suits the proportions of the wall. The 95mm projection keeps it close to the surface, so it works in narrower corridors and beside beds without intruding into walking space. With a 100mm width and 600mm height, the Averna reads as a vertical line on the wall rather than a wide spread of light.

The alabaster columns show natural veining and tonal variation through the stone, with creamy whites running into softer beige and grey passages depending on the section cut. The brushed brass frame wraps the top and base in curved bands and is joined at the centre by a cylindrical brass collar, breaking the alabaster into two illuminated sections. The brushed finish softens the brass without dulling its warmth, pairing comfortably with both warm neutrals and cooler painted walls.

Does it come with a bulb?

Yes. The Averna uses an integrated 8W LED running through the alabaster columns, so no separate bulb is needed. The light source is built into the fitting and not user-replaceable.

What colour temperature does the LED produce?

The integrated LED runs at 3000K, a warm white that brings out the cream and beige tones in the natural alabaster. It suits living rooms, bedrooms and hallways where a softer, ambient light is preferred over cooler task lighting.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

The Averna is not supplied with an IP rating in its specification, so it should be installed in dry interior locations only, such as hallways, stairwells, bedrooms and living rooms. It is not suitable for bathroom zones or outdoor use.

Can it be installed horizontally?

The Averna is designed as a vertical wall light with the brushed brass back plate oriented top-to-bottom. We recommend installing it vertically as intended, both for the visual proportions and to ensure the cable entry sits correctly relative to the back box.
