Averra LED Alabaster Wall Light 800mm - Soft White & Brass

The Averra is an 800mm alabaster wall light built around an elongated rounded panel of natural Spanish alabaster, with a recessed brass linear detail running down the centre. The fitting measures 150mm wide and projects just 70mm from the wall, giving a slim profile despite its substantial vertical presence. An integrated 14W LED at 3000K casts warm light through the stone and along the brass channel.

Suited to hallways, stairwells, bedside walls and feature panels in living rooms, the Averra works as decorative ambient lighting rather than directed task light. The vertical orientation pairs well with double-height entrance halls and rooms with taller proportions, where the 800mm height reads at scale. Mounting is direct to the wall via a concealed back plate, and the 230V mains connection runs from a standard wall outlet box behind the fitting.

The front face is cut from solid Spanish alabaster, so each piece shows different cloud-like tonal movement and subtle mineral veining when lit from behind. The brass channel down the centre adds a warm metallic line that defines the symmetry of the rounded form and contrasts with the soft white of the surrounding stone. The body is constructed from solid copper, which gives the fitting weight and rigidity at this size and supports the alabaster panel without flex.

Is the Averra dimmable?

The integrated 14W LED runs on 230V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer module fitted, so please contact us before pairing the Averra with a dimmer to confirm the LED driver works with your chosen unit.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

The Averra is not supplied with an IP rating in the specification, so it is intended for dry interior locations only. It should not be installed within bathroom zones or in any area exposed to moisture or steam.

Does the alabaster vary between pieces?

Yes. The front panel is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, cloud-like tonal movement and translucency differ between individual fittings. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect, and becomes more visible once the LED is on.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water and dry immediately. Avoid household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners, as alabaster is porous and softer than marble.
