Brinex 3 Light Cluster Alabaster Chandelier - Soft White & Brushed Brass

The Brinex is a 3 light cluster pendant with three short drum shades cut from natural Spanish alabaster, each suspended on a black cable from a 300mm circular brushed brass canopy. The shades hang at staggered heights and are capped with stepped brushed brass collars where the cable meets the stone. Each shade takes an E27 bulb (sold separately), giving control over brightness and colour temperature at install.

The compact 300mm canopy footprint suits dining tables, kitchen islands and stairwells where a cluster of light is needed without the spread of a horizontal multi-arm fitting. Hung over a dining table the three shades typically sit 700-800mm above the surface; in a stairwell or double-height hallway the staggered drops fill vertical space without obstructing sightlines. The cables can be shortened on installation to set the final hanging position.

Each alabaster drum shows distinct veining and tonal variation as it is cut from natural stone, so no two clusters look identical when lit. The shade diameter of 100mm keeps each piece in proportion to the cluster as a whole, and the brushed brass collars and canopy share the same low-sheen finish, so the metalwork reads as one continuous element rather than separate fittings. The combined warm brass and translucent stone pair comfortably with both contemporary and traditional schemes.

What bulbs does the Brinex take?

The pendant uses three E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, one in each alabaster shade. Bulbs are sold separately. A warm-white LED between 6-8W and 2700K-3000K works well for dining and ambient settings, allowing the alabaster to glow without overpowering the room.

Can the drop be adjusted?

Yes. Each of the three cables can be shortened on installation to set the final hanging height and to stagger the shades at different drops. This is typically done by a qualified electrician at the time of fitting.

Does the alabaster vary between shades?

Yes. Each shade is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual pieces, including between the three shades within a single cluster. This is a feature of the natural material rather than a defect.

What size space does it suit?

With a 300mm canopy and 100mm shade diameters, the Brinex is a compact cluster suited to smaller dining tables (up to around 1.4m), kitchen islands, hallways and stairwells. For larger tables or open-plan spaces, a wider cluster or linear arrangement may give better visual balance.
