Brinex 3 Light Linear Alabaster Bar Chandelier - Soft White & Brushed Brass

The Brinex is a 600mm linear bar pendant with three short cylindrical shades cut from natural Spanish alabaster, suspended on slim brushed brass cables from a rectangular brushed brass ceiling plate. Each shade measures 100mm in diameter and houses a single E27 lamp (sold separately), so light passes directly through the stone and picks out the grey-toned veining that runs across each cylinder.

Designed primarily for use over rectangular dining tables, kitchen islands and breakfast bars between 1.2m and 1.8m long, the bar's 600mm length keeps the three pendants grouped tightly above the centre of the surface rather than spanning its full width. The brushed brass plate fixes to a single ceiling point, which makes the Brinex a practical replacement for an existing single-pendant or rose without needing additional wiring positions.

The three shades are spaced evenly along the bar with clear gaps between each cylinder, so the alabaster veining on each piece reads individually rather than blending into a continuous strip of light. Because the alabaster is natural Spanish stone, the veining pattern, mineral colouring and translucency vary between the three shades on a single bar and between one Brinex and the next. The brushed brass finish is warm-toned and low in reflectivity, pairing comfortably with both warm wood interiors and cooler painted kitchens.

What bulb does the Brinex take?

The Brinex takes three E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, one per shade. Bulbs are sold separately. A 6-8W warm-white LED at 2700K-3000K typically works well, giving steady ambient light without overheating the alabaster.

What size table or island does it suit?

The 600mm bar suits rectangular dining tables and kitchen islands between roughly 1.2m and 1.8m in length. The three pendants group around the centre of the surface rather than running its full length, so the table or island can be longer than the bar itself.

How is it fitted to the ceiling?

The brushed brass ceiling plate fixes to a single ceiling point and conceals the wiring connection. The cable drop on each pendant can be adjusted on installation to set the shade height above the table or worktop, typically 700-800mm above the surface.

Will the three shades look identical?

No. Each shade is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining pattern, tonal variation and translucency differ between the three pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone, not a defect, and is part of why the Brinex looks different to glass-shaded alternatives once lit.
