Caldris LED Circular Alabaster Wall Light - Brushed Brass

The Caldris is a circular wall light built around a 292mm disc of natural Spanish alabaster, bisected horizontally by a slim brushed brass bar that runs across its full width. An integrated 3000K LED sits behind the stone, lighting the alabaster from within so the disc itself acts as the diffuser. The fitting projects 102mm from the wall and stands 225mm tall, giving it a compact wall presence with a clear sculptural silhouette.

Designed for hallways, stairwell landings, bedrooms and living rooms, the Caldris works well in pairs flanking a mirror, headboard or piece of artwork, and equally as a single feature beside a sofa or console table. The 102mm projection keeps it close enough to the wall to pass safely in narrower hallways, while the warm 3000K output suits relaxed evening lighting rather than task-level brightness. Hardwired to mains 230V via a concealed back plate.

Each alabaster disc is cut from natural Spanish stone, so the veining patterns and tonal variation differ between individual pieces — this is most visible once the LED is switched on and light passes through the thinner sections of the stone. The brass bar is finished with a low-sheen brushed grain that softens reflections under daylight and warms slightly under the LED at night. Combined weight and proportions sit comfortably on standard plasterboard or masonry walls with appropriate fixings.

Does the Caldris come with a bulb?

Yes. The light source is an integrated LED rated at 3000K running on 230V mains, so no separate bulb is needed. As the LED is integrated, it cannot be replaced like a standard lamp — the LED module is designed for the lifespan of the fitting.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer module used with integrated LED fittings. Please contact us before pairing the Caldris with a dimmer circuit so we can confirm compatibility for your installation.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

The Caldris is supplied without a specified IP rating, so it is intended for dry interior locations only — hallways, bedrooms, living rooms and stairwells. It is not suitable for bathroom zones or external use.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Natural alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water and dry immediately. Avoid household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners, which can stain or etch the stone.
