Calveron Circular Alabaster Table Lamp - Brass & White

The Calveron is a 620mm alabaster table lamp built around a circular ring cut from natural Spanish alabaster, held within a slim antique brass frame. The stone ring sits on a rectangular brass plinth, with a slender brass stem rising behind it to support a tapered square white PVC shade. The lamp takes a single E27 bulb (sold separately) housed inside the shade.

Designed for console tables, sideboards, hallway tables and bedroom dressers, the Calveron suits surfaces around 400mm deep or wider where its 230mm x 400mm footprint can sit comfortably. The 620mm height places the bulb at typical eye level when seated, making it suitable as bedside reading light or as a paired ambient lamp on either end of a sideboard. The standard E27 fitting accepts most LED, halogen or filament bulbs.

Each alabaster ring shows different mineral veining and tonal variation depending on the section of stone it was cut from, so no two Calveron lamps look identical. The brass collars at the top and bottom of the ring clamp the stone to the stem and base, giving the lamp a defined architectural geometry of circle, square and vertical line. The brushed antique brass tone warms against the pale alabaster and the cool white of the shade.

What bulb does the Calveron take?

The lamp uses a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. Most users pair this lamp with a warm white LED between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K to complement the alabaster and brass tones.

Does each alabaster ring look different?

Yes. Each ring is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural material rather than a defect.

What size surface does it suit?

The base measures 230mm x 400mm, so the lamp suits console tables, sideboards and dressers around 400mm deep or wider. At 620mm tall it also works as a bedside lamp where the bulb sits roughly at seated eye level.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid soaking the stone, household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners, which can mark or dull the surface.
