Celora Alabaster Table Lamp with Brass Spires - Soft White Shade

The Celora is a 680mm alabaster table lamp built around a central column of natural Spanish alabaster, encircled at its lower half by a cluster of slender brass spires of staggered heights. The column sits on a clear stepped crystal base, and a cylindrical white PVC shade with a brass finial caps the fitting. A single E27 lamp socket sits inside the shade.

At 680mm tall and 380mm in shade diameter, the Celora suits console tables in entrance halls, sideboards in dining rooms and large bedside tables in master bedrooms where a substantial decorative lamp is wanted. The E27 fitting accepts standard LED, halogen or filament bulbs up to the rating shown on the lampholder, so the colour temperature and brightness can be matched to the room (bulb sold separately). A standard inline switch on the cable controls on/off.

The alabaster column is cut from a single block, giving each piece its own pattern of veining and translucency. Around it, the brass spires rise like organ pipes in graduated heights, casting reflective accents along the lamp's lower half and adding depth between the warm metal and the cooler stone. The crystal base anchors the composition visually without adding bulk, and the white drum shade keeps the upper half quiet so the sculptural detail below carries the design.

What bulb does the Celora take?

The lamp uses a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. Most buyers pair it with a 6-9W warm-white LED at 2700K-3000K, which gives a soft glow through the white shade without overheating the alabaster column.

Is the alabaster column the same on every lamp?

No. Each column is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a manufacturing defect.

Where does the Celora work best?

At 680mm tall with a 380mm shade, it suits console tables, hallway sideboards, dining room buffets and larger bedside tables. It is too tall for most standard side tables next to low sofas, where the shade would sit above eye level when seated.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid water, household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners, as these can stain or etch the stone. The brass spires can be dusted with the same cloth.
