Cornova LED Linear Alabaster Wall Light 900mm - Matte Black

The Cornova is a 900mm tall linear wall light built from a slim vertical panel of natural Spanish alabaster set against a matte black solid copper backing. The alabaster face measures just 45mm wide and projects 90mm from the wall, giving a tall, narrow profile rather than a broad wash plate. An integrated LED runs the full height behind the stone, lighting the alabaster from within at a warm 3000K colour temperature on 230V mains.

The slim proportions suit hallways, stairwells, bedside positions and either side of a bathroom mirror or vanity, where a tall vertical light adds height to the wall without taking up lateral space. Installed singly the Cornova reads as a vertical accent; mounted in pairs flanking a bed, doorway or fireplace, it frames the architecture. The 90mm projection keeps the fitting clear of standard door swings and corridor traffic.

Each alabaster panel shows different mineral veining and cloud-like tonal variation depending on the section of stone it was cut from, so no two Cornova lights look identical when lit. The matte black copper backing frames the stone with a hard dark edge that sharpens the silhouette against pale walls and recedes against darker schemes. The combination of warm-glowing stone face and crisp black spine gives the fitting a two-tone read from any angle.

Does the Cornova come with the LED already fitted?

Yes. The LED runs the full 900mm height behind the alabaster panel and is integrated into the fitting, so there is no separate bulb to source. It outputs warm 3000K light on 230V mains.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No IP rating is listed for the Cornova, so it should be installed in dry interior locations only. For bathroom mirror or vanity use, look for a fitting with a stated IP44 or higher rating in zone 2.

Can it be mounted horizontally?

The Cornova is designed as a vertical wall light, with the integrated LED and back box orientated for upright installation. Horizontal mounting is not recommended as it can affect heat dissipation along the LED strip.

Does the alabaster vary between pieces?

Yes. Each panel is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect, and becomes most visible when the light is switched on.
