Drisa Hanging Globe Alabaster Wall Light - Brushed Brass

The Drisa is a single-light wall fitting built around a 120mm globe of natural Spanish alabaster suspended from a brushed brass arm. A circular brass wall plate anchors the fitting, with a short horizontal arm extending outward to hold a slim black drop rod. The alabaster globe sits beneath a brass cap and houses a G9 lamp socket, giving a compact wall light that combines natural stone with warm metalwork.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, lounges and dining rooms, the Drisa works as a paired light flanking a bed, mirror or fireplace, or as a single accent on a feature wall. The 160mm drop is adjustable on installation, so the globe can be set higher or lower depending on furniture height and the position of the wall plate. The G9 lamp socket accepts standard mains-voltage capsule bulbs (sold separately).

The globe is cut from solid Spanish alabaster and shows soft amber and grey veining through the white stone. Because each globe is taken from a different section of natural alabaster, the markings vary between individual pieces and become more pronounced when the lamp is lit. The solid copper internals and brushed brass outer finish keep the visible metalwork warm-toned and low-sheen, pairing comfortably with both classical and modern interiors.

What bulb does the Drisa take?

The fitting takes a single G9 mains-voltage capsule bulb, sold separately. Most buyers pair it with a warm-white LED G9 between 2-4W and 2700K-3000K, which suits the natural amber tones in the alabaster.

Is the drop length adjustable?

Yes. The 160mm drop can be shortened on installation, allowing the globe to sit closer to the wall plate or further below it depending on where the wall light is mounted and the surrounding furniture.

Will each alabaster globe look the same?

No. The globes are cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between pieces. The markings become more visible when the lamp is switched on. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect.

Can the Drisa be used in a bathroom?

The Drisa does not carry a published IP rating, so it is intended for general indoor use rather than bathroom zones. For bathroom installations, please choose a wall light with a confirmed IP44 or higher rating.
