Elara LED Mini Drop Alabaster Semi-Flush Ceiling Light - Matte Black

The Elara is a compact semi-flush ceiling light measuring 126mm in height and 76mm in diameter, built from solid copper with a matte black finish and a natural Spanish alabaster drop diffuser. An integrated 5W LED at 3000K sits above the alabaster, casting warm light through the stone and revealing its veining and tonal variation. The cylindrical black housing meets a circular ceiling plate, giving a clean architectural junction at the soffit.

The small footprint and shallow projection make the Elara a workable choice for hallways, ensuites, walk-in wardrobes, landings and small bedrooms where a full pendant would crowd the room. Multiple units can be installed in a row above a corridor or grouped over a stairwell to provide consistent ambient light without dominating the ceiling. The semi-flush mounting suits ceiling heights from 2.2m upwards, including rooms where pendant drops are not practical.

Each alabaster drop is cut from natural Spanish stone, so the cloudy markings, soft swirls and linear veining differ between individual pieces. The matte black copper housing provides a strong tonal counterpoint to the pale stone and avoids the reflective glare of polished finishes under direct light. The 5W integrated LED runs cool enough to keep the alabaster at safe handling temperature and removes the need to source a compatible bulb separately.

Is the Elara suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. At 126mm overall height the Elara is a semi-flush fitting designed for rooms where a pendant drop would intrude. It works comfortably in ceiling heights from 2.2m upwards, including hallways, ensuites and small bedrooms.

Does it come with a bulb?

Yes. The Elara uses an integrated 5W LED at 3000K, so no separate bulb is required. The LED is built into the fitting and is not user-replaceable.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No IP rating is listed in the specification, so the Elara should be installed in dry interior locations only. For bathroom zones please choose a fitting with an appropriate IP rating.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Wipe the alabaster gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners — alabaster is porous and softer than marble, and liquid cleaners can mark or stain the surface.
