Elmyra 8 Light Linear Alabaster Chandelier - Soft White

The Elmyra is a 910mm linear pendant built from eight cube-form blocks of natural Spanish alabaster, each suspended on its own fine cable from a slim stainless steel ceiling track. The cubes are staggered at slightly different heights to break the strict horizontal line, and each houses a single G9 lamp holder (eight in total, bulbs sold separately) so light passes directly through the stone walls.

Designed for long dining tables, kitchen islands and rectangular hallways, the 910mm length suits tables and islands of roughly 1.4-2.0m and works best with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The pendant typically hangs 700-800mm above a dining surface or 750-900mm above an island worktop. The stainless steel track sits flush to the ceiling and the suspension cables can be shortened on installation to set the drop.

Each alabaster cube is cut from a single block, so the veining, mineral marks and translucency vary between elements. When the eight G9 bulbs are lit, the side walls of each cube glow while the bottom face throws warm task light onto the surface below. The 120mm width keeps the fitting visually compact for its length, and the staggered cube arrangement reads as sculptural rather than uniform when the pendant is switched off.

What bulbs does the Elmyra take?

The pendant uses 8 x G9 capsule bulbs, one inside each alabaster cube. Bulbs are sold separately. A warm-white G9 LED at 2700K-3000K and 3-4W per cube gives the most flattering glow through the stone.

What length of table does it suit?

At 910mm long, the Elmyra is well-proportioned over dining tables and kitchen islands of roughly 1.4-2.0m. Hung 700-800mm above the table surface, it lights the centre of the table without dominating the sightline across it.

Does the alabaster vary between cubes?

Yes. Each of the eight cubes is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, mineral marks and translucency differ from cube to cube. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect, and the variation is most visible when the pendant is lit.

Can the drop be adjusted?

The fine suspension cables can be shortened during installation to set the drop appropriate to the ceiling height and table position. Adjustment is done at the ceiling track, so the cable length below each cube remains consistent across the eight elements.
