Elon LED Sphere Pendant Light - Matt Black

The Elon is a 30cm spherical pendant light cut from sheet metal in a matt black finish, with an organic pattern of irregular oval and pebble-shaped openings perforating the surface. An integrated 60W 3000K LED sits inside the sphere and casts warm light through the cut-outs, throwing patterned shadows onto surrounding walls and ceilings. The 2m suspension cable is adjustable on installation.

Designed as a single decorative pendant, the Elon suits dining tables, kitchen islands, stairwells and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. Hung individually over a small dining table or in a cluster of three at staggered heights over a longer table, the patterned shadow effect becomes part of the room's lighting scheme. The matt black finish reads as a strong silhouette against pale walls and recedes into darker schemes.

The metal shell is laser-cut and powder-coated, giving a low-sheen finish that resists fingerprints and minor handling marks. At 30cm diameter and 30cm height the sphere is compact enough to use in pairs or trios without crowding a ceiling, and the integrated LED removes the need to source a separate bulb. The 2m cable can be shortened on fitting, and bespoke longer cable runs can be arranged for double-height ceilings or stairwells.

Does the Elon need a separate bulb?

No. The pendant uses an integrated 60W LED rated at 3000K warm white, so no separate bulb is needed. The LED is built into the fitting and not user-replaceable.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 2m cable plus 30cm sphere gives a maximum drop of 230cm, so the Elon suits ceiling heights of 2.4m and above. The cable is shortened on installation to set the pendant 700-800mm above a dining table or kitchen island. Longer bespoke cable runs can be arranged for stairwells and double-height spaces.

Can it be used in multiples over a long table?

Yes. The 30cm diameter is compact enough to hang two or three Elon pendants in a row over a longer dining table or kitchen island, typically spaced 600-800mm apart centre to centre.

Is it dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model paired with the integrated LED driver. Please contact us before fitting a dimmer to confirm compatibility for your installation.
