Elviro Small Slim Tube Alabaster Pendant Light - Brushed Brass

The Elviro Small is a slim cylindrical pendant built around a 300mm tall, 60mm diameter tube of natural Spanish alabaster, capped at the top with a brushed brass collar and finished at the base with a small brushed brass end cap. An integrated LED concealed inside the tube runs warm 3000K light through the stone, turning the entire alabaster column into the diffuser.

The narrow 60mm diameter and vertical proportions suit positions where a wider pendant would feel heavy: above a kitchen island in a multi-pendant cluster, either side of a bed in place of table lamps, over a hallway console, or as a row above a long dining table. The brass canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses, and the suspension cable can be shortened on installation to set the drop height to suit the room.

Each alabaster tube is cut from natural stone, so the veining, tonal banding and translucency vary between individual pieces. The mineral layers visible along the length of the tube become more pronounced when the LED is switched on, and the brushed brass collar and base cap give the pendant a defined termination at each end without competing with the stone. Combined weight is held by the cable suspension from the brass canopy.

What light output does the integrated LED give?

The LED runs at 230V mains and produces warm 3000K light through the alabaster tube. Because the stone itself acts as the diffuser, the Elviro is intended as a decorative or accent pendant rather than a primary task light, so it works best when paired with additional lighting in larger rooms.

Can the drop height be adjusted?

Yes. The suspension cable can be shortened on installation by a competent electrician to set the pendant at the height needed. Above a kitchen island, around 700-800mm from the worktop to the base of the tube is typical; over a dining table, 750-900mm from the table surface is a common starting point.

Will the alabaster pattern match my other Elviro pendants?

Each tube is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining and tonal banding differ between pieces. When clusters are installed above an island or run, the pendants share the same overall colour and form but each tube has its own unique mineral pattern.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners, and do not use a damp cloth saturated with water as the stone can absorb moisture and stain.
