Ginger LED Floor Lamp - Black & Wood Veneer

The Ginger is a 156cm LED floor lamp built around a wide 45cm wood veneer dome shade mounted on a slim matt black steel stem, set on a circular wood veneer base. An integrated 15W 3000K LED sits beneath the dome and throws warm light downward and outward onto the floor and surrounding furniture, with the underside of the shade acting as a soft reflector.

Designed as ambient floor lighting rather than direct task light, the Ginger suits living rooms next to a sofa, reading corners alongside an armchair, or bedrooms where a bedside table is impractical. The downward light spread covers a generous pool of floor area without glare at seated eye level, since the dome conceals the LED entirely. The slim 156cm column takes up little visual space against a wall or beside furniture.

The shade and base share the same pale wood veneer finish, giving the lamp a warm natural tone that contrasts with the black stem and small black ceiling-style cup beneath the shade. The 45cm shade diameter is wide enough to cast a broad light pool but narrow enough to fit through standard 50cm-plus gaps between furniture. The weighted base keeps the slim profile stable on hard floors and short-pile rugs.

Does the Ginger come with a bulb?

Yes. The Ginger uses an integrated 15W LED rated at 3000K (warm white), so no separate bulb is needed. The LED is built into the fitting and is not designed to be user-replaced.

Which way does the light shine?

The LED sits under the dome shade and casts light downward and outward across the floor and surrounding furniture. The shade hides the LED from view at standing or seated eye level, eliminating direct glare.

Is it suitable for reading?

The Ginger is designed as ambient lighting rather than focused task light. It works well for general reading in a relaxed setting, but for prolonged reading you may prefer pairing it with a dedicated reading lamp positioned closer to the page.

Is the lamp dimmable?

The integrated LED runs at 15W on mains voltage. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model, so please contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm.
