Selvara LED Small Alabaster Wall Light - Brushed Brass

The Selvara Small is a 380mm alabaster wall light built around a slim rectangular column of natural Spanish alabaster, capped at the top and bottom by brushed brass brackets and mounted on a flat brushed brass backplate. An integrated 5W LED runs concealed inside the stone column, casting warm 3000K light that emerges through the full height of the alabaster as a soft vertical glow.

Sized at 380mm tall by 110mm wide with a 100mm projection from the wall, this is the smaller variant in the Selvara range and suits hallways, bedside positions, ensuite walls and stairwell installations where a tall pendant or larger sconce would feel out of scale. The fitting wires directly to mains and works well in pairs flanking a mirror, headboard or doorway, or run in a sequence along a corridor wall to give rhythm to a longer space.

The alabaster column shows the mineral veining and tonal banding of the natural stone it was cut from, so each Selvara wall light has a different pattern of warm grey, cream and amber translucency once lit. The brushed brass on the brackets and backplate carries a directional grain that catches light without producing a mirrored reflection, pairing comfortably with both warm-toned timber interiors and cooler painted plaster.

Does the Selvara Small come with a bulb?

Yes. The 5W LED is integrated into the fitting and runs the full height of the alabaster column, so no separate bulb is needed. The colour temperature is fixed at 3000K (warm white).

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No IP rating is specified for this fitting, so it should not be installed in bathroom zones where it could be exposed to splashing water or steam. It is suited to bedrooms, hallways, living rooms and stairwells.

Can it be installed horizontally?

The Selvara is designed as a vertical wall light with the brass backplate orientated upright. It is not intended to be mounted horizontally, and the alabaster column reads best as a vertical element on the wall.

How does the small differ from the large Selvara?

The small is 380mm tall and suits bedside, hallway and stairwell positions. The large variant is taller and intended for higher-ceilinged hallways, double-height stairwells and feature walls where a longer vertical glow is wanted. Both share the same brushed brass and Spanish alabaster construction.
