Lirone Small Vertical Capsule Alabaster Wall Light - Black

The Lirone is a 350mm vertical wall light built around a capsule of natural Spanish alabaster, flanked by two slim black metal bars and mounted on a black backplate. Two G9 lamps sit behind the stone, with additional light spilling above and below the capsule through the open ends of the bracket. The result is a soft glow through the alabaster body and two crisper pools of light at the top and bottom.

At 350mm tall, 103mm wide and 60mm projection, the Lirone suits hallway walls, bedside positions either side of a headboard, and bathroom flanks beside a mirror where a slim profile is needed. The compact footprint allows it to be paired symmetrically without dominating the wall, and the limited 60mm projection keeps it clear of doorways and circulation routes in narrower hallways.

The alabaster is cut from a single section of natural Spanish stone, so each capsule shows different mineral veining and tonal variation when lit. The black metal supports run the full length of the stone on either side, finished in a warm-toned matt black that reads cleanly against both pale and darker wall colours. Brass detailing inside the bracket adds a warm reflection at the open ends where the G9 lamps are exposed.

What bulbs does the Lirone take?

The fitting takes two G9 capsule lamps, one positioned at the top of the bracket and one at the bottom. Bulbs are sold separately. A warm-white G9 LED between 2700K and 3000K is recommended to complement the natural tone of the alabaster.

Is it suitable for bathroom use?

The Specification tab does not list an IP rating for this fitting, so it should be treated as an indoor general-use wall light rather than a bathroom-zone fitting. For bathroom installation please contact us first to confirm a suitable alternative or zone placement.

Does the alabaster vary between pieces?

Yes. Each capsule is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect, and the variation only becomes fully visible once the lamps are lit.

Can two be mounted as a pair?

The 350mm height and 103mm width make the Lirone well suited to symmetrical pairing either side of a bed, mirror, artwork or hallway feature. Allow at least the width of the fixture again as clear space on each side for visual balance.
