Description
The Lorixa is a 9-light cascading chandelier built around nine 140mm globes of natural Spanish alabaster, suspended at staggered heights from a 650mm circular brushed bronze canopy. Each globe sits in a turned brushed bronze cap fitted with a G9 lamp socket, and the cables drop in a spiralling arrangement to a maximum overall height of 2400mm.
The cluster format and 2.4m drop are designed for tall vertical voids: stairwell wells, double-height entrance halls, atria above dining tables, and open mezzanines. The staggered globe positions read as a rotating column of light when viewed from below or from a stair landing, so the chandelier works from multiple sight lines rather than a single elevation. Cable lengths are adjusted on installation to suit the available drop.
The alabaster is cut into solid spheres rather than thin shells, so each globe carries visible veining and tonal variation that becomes more pronounced when lit. The brushed bronze canopy and globe caps give a warm, low-sheen metallic note that pairs with the soft white stone, and the stainless steel internals support the weight of nine solid stone globes without flex. The 650mm canopy is sized to suit ceiling apertures above 700mm or open structural voids.

Frequently Asked
What ceiling height does the Lorixa need?
The maximum drop is 2400mm, which suits stairwells, double-height halls and voids of 3m or more. The cable lengths are adjusted on installation, so the chandelier can be shortened to suit a lower ceiling, though the cascading effect is most effective when the full drop is used.
What bulbs does it take and are they included?
Each of the nine globes uses a G9 lamp socket. Bulbs are sold separately. A G9 LED capsule between 2.5W and 3.5W in 2700K-3000K typically gives the warmest result through natural alabaster.
Does the alabaster vary between globes?
Yes. Each globe is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, mineral patterning and tonal variation differ between individual spheres. This is a feature of the natural stone and is more visible when the bulbs are lit.
How is it cleaned?
Wipe the alabaster gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid household sprays, polishes and damp cleaning, as alabaster is porous and softer than marble. The brushed bronze canopy and caps can be dusted with a dry lint-free cloth.
