Lyra LED Twin Disc Alabaster Wall Light - Brushed Brass

The Lyra is a 600mm tall LED wall light built around two natural Spanish alabaster discs staggered along a slender twin-rod brushed brass spine. Each disc is carved from a single piece of stone and shows its own pattern of soft mineral veining. An integrated 16W LED behind the discs casts warm 3000K light through the alabaster, with the stone itself acting as the diffuser.

Designed for hallways, stairwells, bedrooms and lounge walls, the Lyra works as decorative ambient lighting rather than task light. The 235mm width and 120mm projection keep it close to the wall, suitable for circulation routes where a deeper fitting would be impractical. The vertical 600mm format suits paired installations either side of a bed, mirror or fireplace, and reads cleanly on plain or subtly textured walls.

The brushed brass spine extends past both discs at the top and bottom, giving the fitting a deliberate architectural rhythm rather than a single bulky form. Each alabaster disc has refined, smoothly contoured edges where it meets the brass, with no visible fixings on the front face. Because the alabaster is natural stone, veining and tonal variation differ between individual fittings, so paired Lyras hung together will share character without looking identical.

Does the Lyra come with the LED already fitted?

Yes. The Lyra uses an integrated 16W LED running at 230V mains with a 3000K warm white colour temperature. There are no replaceable bulbs to fit, and no separate driver to source.

Is the Lyra dimmable?

Compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model in use with an integrated LED of this type. We recommend contacting us before pairing the Lyra with a dimmer circuit so we can confirm suitability for your wiring.

Will the two alabaster discs match between fittings if I buy a pair?

The discs are cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, translucency and tonal variation differ between individual pieces. Paired Lyras will share the same overall character but will not be identical, which is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Wipe the discs with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners, as alabaster is porous and softer than marble. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but do not soak the stone.
