Lyvane 3 Light Alabaster Globe Cluster Chandelier - Matte Black

The Lyvane is a three-light cluster pendant built around three 120mm globes cut from natural Spanish alabaster, suspended at staggered drops from a 300mm matte black circular canopy. Each globe sits in a brushed brass cup and hangs on a black flex, with the longest drop reaching 1000mm overall. Each globe takes a single G9 lamp (sold separately), giving three independent points of light through the translucent stone.

The compact 300mm canopy footprint suits stairwell voids, double-height entrance halls, and over round dining tables of 900-1200mm diameter where a single large pendant would feel too heavy. The staggered drops can be adjusted on installation to suit the ceiling height, with the lowest globe typically set 700-800mm above a dining surface or sized to fill a stairwell drop. Standard UK ceiling rose fixings are used.

Spanish alabaster is cut from natural stone, so each globe carries its own pattern of veining and tonal variation visible when the lamp is lit. The matte black canopy and brass cups give the cluster a controlled three-tone palette: warm stone, warm metal, and a flat dark anchor at the ceiling. With G9 lamps inside, light passes through the alabaster rather than around it, so the globes themselves become the visible light source.

What bulbs does the Lyvane take?

Each of the three globes takes a single G9 capsule lamp, giving three lamps in total. Bulbs are sold separately. A warm-white G9 LED between 2.5-3.5W and 2700K-3000K pairs well with the alabaster and avoids overheating inside the stone.

Can the drop heights be adjusted?

Yes. The maximum overall drop is 1000mm and each of the three flexes can be shortened on installation to set the staggered arrangement at heights that suit the room. The cluster is typically used over dining tables, in stairwells or in double-height halls where the staggered drop is visible from multiple angles.

Does the alabaster vary between globes?

Yes. Each globe is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, tone and translucency differ between individual pieces — including between the three globes within a single Lyvane cluster. This is a feature of the natural stone.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Wipe the globes with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Alabaster is porous and softer than marble, so avoid household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but do not soak the stone.
