Montavo LED Alabaster Tube Wall Light - Brushed Brass

The Montavo is a 600mm alabaster tube wall light built around a single cylinder of natural Spanish alabaster, capped top and bottom in brushed brass and mounted on a slim brushed brass backplate. An integrated 15W LED inside the tube casts warm 3000K light through the stone, with the open ends pushing additional light up the wall and down towards the floor.

The slender 65mm-wide profile and 90mm projection keep the fitting close to the wall, suiting hallways, stairwell walls, bedside positions and bathroom-adjacent dressing areas where space is tight. The vertical 600mm format works well flanking mirrors, doorways or fireplaces in pairs, and the open ends of the tube give the light a directional quality that softer enclosed sconces cannot match.

The alabaster cylinder is cut from a single piece of natural Spanish stone, so each Montavo carries its own pattern of veining and tonal variation when lit. The solid copper backplate and arm are finished in brushed brass with a low-sheen matt texture that resists fingerprints and pairs comfortably with both warm-toned and cooler interiors. The mounting plate measures roughly 65mm wide, allowing it to sit over a standard UK back box without overhang.

Does the Montavo light up and down, or just sideways through the stone?

Both. The integrated LED sits inside the alabaster tube, so light diffuses sideways through the stone walls and also escapes through the open ends top and bottom, giving a soft up-and-down wash on the wall behind.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

The Montavo does not carry a published IP rating, so it is not suitable for installation within bathroom zones 0, 1 or 2. It can be used in dressing areas or bathrooms outside the splash zones where standard indoor wall lights are permitted.

Is the LED replaceable or dimmable?

The 15W 3000K LED is integrated, meaning the light source is built into the fitting rather than supplied as a replaceable bulb. Dimmer compatibility is not specified — please contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry microfibre cloth, or barely-damp distilled water for stubborn marks. Avoid household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners, which can stain or etch the stone.
