Montavo Small LED Alabaster Tube Wall Light - Brushed Brass

The Montavo Small is a 400mm tall alabaster tube wall light with a 60mm diameter stone column mounted on a brushed brass backplate. The cylindrical body is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, capped at each end with a brushed brass collar, and powered by an integrated 10W 3000K LED that lights the column from within. Total fixture width is 65mm and projection from the wall is 90mm.

The vertical profile and slim footprint suit positions where a wider fitting would feel bulky: flanking a bathroom or hallway mirror, framing a bedhead, or adding rhythm along a corridor wall at intervals. The 90mm projection sits close enough to the wall to clear most circulation paths, and the up-and-down glow from the open ends washes the wall above and below the fitting in addition to the diffused light through the stone itself.

Each alabaster tube shows different veining and clouded tonal variation depending on the section of stone it was cut from, so the pattern visible when the LED is lit differs between individual fittings. The solid copper backplate gives the bracket weight and rigidity, and the brushed brass finish on the collars and plate softens reflections compared to a polished brass equivalent. Run on 230V mains with the LED integrated into the fitting, so no separate bulb is required.

Does the Montavo come with the LED bulb included?

Yes. The 10W 3000K LED is integrated into the fitting and is not user-replaceable as a separate bulb. The fitting runs directly from 230V mains.

Is this wall light suitable for bathrooms?

Does the alabaster pattern vary between fittings?

Yes. Each tube is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, clouded patterning and tonal variation differ between individual pieces. This is a property of the natural stone rather than a defect.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Alabaster is porous and softer than marble, so avoid household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners. For stubborn marks a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but do not soak the stone.
