Morvex Small Stacked Alabaster Pendant Light - Brushed Brass

The Morvex is a compact stacked alabaster pendant light measuring 200mm tall and 100mm in diameter, built from three sculpted forms of natural Spanish alabaster suspended on a brushed brass rod. A small cup, a flattened disc and a rounded sphere stack vertically, with brushed brass joints between each section. An integrated 3000K LED inside the assembly lights the stone from within, turning the alabaster itself into the diffuser.

The compact 100mm diameter suits positions where a larger pendant would feel heavy: bedside hanging in pairs either side of a bed, above a small bathroom vanity, in a hallway or stairwell, or clustered at varying drops over a kitchen island or dining table. The slim brushed brass rod gives a clean, vertical suspension line, and the rod length can be adjusted on installation to set the pendant at the right height for the room.

Each section of the Morvex is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual pieces. When lit, denser bands of stone show as soft caramel shadows while thinner sections glow warm white, creating a layered visual effect that changes depending on the angle of view. The brushed brass joints carry a muted sheen rather than a high polish, softening reflections and pairing comfortably with both warm-toned and cooler interiors.

Does the Morvex come with a bulb?

The Morvex uses an integrated LED, so no separate bulb is required or replaceable. The LED runs at 230V mains and produces warm white light at 3000K colour temperature.

Can the drop height be adjusted?

Yes. The brushed brass suspension rod can be shortened on installation to set the pendant at the height that suits the room. This is typically done by a qualified electrician at the time of fitting.

Will each pendant look the same?

No. Each section is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, mineral patterning and translucency vary between individual pieces. Pendants ordered in pairs or sets will share the same overall character but show unique markings.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid household sprays, polishes or any chemical cleaners, and do not soak the stone with water.
