Nerava LED Alabaster Wall Light - Black

The Nerava is a 500mm vertical wall light built around a cylindrical column of natural Spanish alabaster mounted in front of a slim matt black backplate. An integrated 8W LED runs the length of the alabaster, casting warm 3000K light through the stone so the tube itself becomes the luminous element. The fitting measures 90mm wide and projects 60mm from the wall.

Designed for hallways, stairwells, bedside walls and either side of a bathroom mirror or vanity, the Nerava reads as architectural lighting rather than a decorative sconce. The vertical orientation suits taller wall sections and pairs well in mirrored installations either side of a doorway, headboard or feature panel. Hardwired to 230V mains with the LED concealed inside the alabaster, there are no visible bulbs, sockets or exposed driver components.

Each alabaster column shows distinct veining and tonal variation that becomes more pronounced once the LED is on, with darker mineral lines tracing through the stone against a warmer cream ground. The matt black backplate provides a defined edge behind the alabaster, giving the fitting a graphic vertical line on the wall while keeping the stone as the visual focus. The 60mm projection sits flush enough for circulation spaces and corridors without obstructing passage.

Is the Nerava suitable for bathrooms?

The Nerava is not supplied with a published IP rating, so it should be treated as an indoor fitting for general residential use. It is not recommended for bathroom zones 0, 1 or 2 where IP44 or higher is required. It can suit a powder room or vanity area outside the splash zones.

Does it come with a bulb?

Yes. The Nerava uses an integrated 8W LED rated at 3000K warm white, sealed inside the alabaster column. There is no replaceable bulb — the LED module is part of the fitting and runs on 230V mains.

Is it dimmable?

The integrated LED runs at 8W on 230V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model, so please contact us before pairing the Nerava with a dimmer to confirm.

Does the alabaster vary between pieces?

Yes. Each column is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining patterns, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual fittings. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect, and the variation becomes more visible when the LED is switched on.
