Description
The Noctis is an 850mm-diameter chandelier built from fourteen 130mm Spanish alabaster globes suspended on fine cables from a single oval brushed brass canopy. The globes cluster at varying heights to form a low, rounded mass roughly two-thirds of the way down the 1500mm overall drop, with each globe housing its own G9 lamp behind the natural stone.
Designed for larger rooms with generous ceiling height, the Noctis suits open-plan living areas, double-height entrance halls, stairwells and dining rooms with longer or rounder tables. The cables can be shortened on installation to set the cluster at the right height for the room. Above a dining table the globes typically sit 750-900mm above the surface; in a stairwell or hall the chandelier reads from multiple floors and benefits from being viewed from below as well as alongside.
Each alabaster globe is cut from a single block of natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, mineral patterning and translucency vary across the fourteen pieces. Lit from inside by G9 lamps, the stone glows from within rather than acting as a simple shade, and the cluster casts soft overlapping shadows on the ceiling around the canopy. The brushed brass canopy and cable terminals provide a warm metallic counterpoint to the cool white stone.

Frequently Asked
Are bulbs included?
Bulbs are not listed as included. The Noctis takes 14 x G9 lamps, which are sold separately. Most users pair the chandelier with warm-white G9 LEDs around 2700K-3000K to complement the warm tone of the alabaster and brushed brass.
What ceiling height does it need?
The overall drop is 1500mm, with the canopy fixed flush to the ceiling and the alabaster cluster hanging below. The cables can be shortened on installation, but a ceiling height of 2.7m or above generally allows the chandelier to read properly without the cluster sitting too low for circulation. In stairwells or double-height spaces the full drop can be used.
Does each alabaster globe look the same?
No. Each globe is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between the fourteen pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect, and it gives the cluster depth when lit.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Wipe the globes with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners, as alabaster is porous and softer than marble.
