Noreva Sculpted Globe Alabaster Table Lamp - Soft White

The Noreva is a 300mm spherical table lamp carved from a single block of natural Spanish alabaster, sitting directly on its base without a visible stand or stem. The globe houses a single E27 lamp socket inside, so the entire stone sphere becomes the diffuser when lit. The exterior is finished in a soft white tone that lets the natural mineral veining and tonal variation of the alabaster lead the visual composition.

At 300mm tall and 300mm in diameter, the Noreva suits bedside tables, console tables, sideboards and shelving runs where a compact ambient light is needed rather than a directed reading lamp. The single E27 fitting accepts standard LED, halogen or filament bulbs (sold separately), giving the option to choose a warm 2700K-3000K bulb for a soft glow or a brighter output for accent lighting in a larger room.

The internal frame is solid copper, with the alabaster shaped to retain a hand-finished surface that shows the irregular contours of the original stone block rather than a polished machine finish. Each globe varies in veining pattern, translucency and tonal depth depending on the section of alabaster it was cut from, so no two Noreva lamps look identical when lit. The 2-year warranty covers the electrical components.

What bulb does the Noreva take?

The lamp uses a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. Most users pair it with a warm-white LED between 2700K and 3000K to bring out the natural tone of the alabaster and produce a soft ambient glow.

Does each lamp look the same?

No. Every globe is carved from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, translucency and tonal variation differ between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect, and means each Noreva is visually unique when lit.

Is the Noreva dimmable?

Dimming depends on the bulb fitted rather than the lamp itself. Pair the E27 socket with a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible plug-in or wall dimmer for variable output. Check the bulb manufacturer's dimmer compatibility list before purchase.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is a porous stone and softer than marble. Wipe the surface with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners.
