Norevia Cube Alabaster Pendant Light - Matte Black

The Norevia is a single-light pendant built around a square block of natural Spanish alabaster, set beneath a wide matte black disc canopy and a slim cylindrical stem. The frame is solid copper finished in matte black, and a single G9 lamp inside the alabaster cube casts light through the stone itself. The fitting measures 250mm in diameter at the disc and 290mm in height excluding the suspension cable.

The horizontal disc and vertical cube create a deliberate geometric contrast, making the Norevia suited to kitchen islands, breakfast bars, hallways and dining tables where a single sculptural pendant works better than a cluster. The compact 250mm disc keeps the footprint small enough for narrow runs, and the pendant can be installed singly or grouped in a row of two or three above a longer island or counter.

Each alabaster cube is cut from natural stone, so the veining, translucency and tonal variation differ from piece to piece. When lit, the G9 lamp reveals the internal structure of the stone, with marbling and soft cloudy patterns becoming visible through the flat planes. The matte black copper frame gives the fitting a clean architectural outline against the warmth of the lit alabaster, and the low-sheen finish keeps reflections off the disc and stem.

What bulb does the Norevia take?

The pendant takes a single G9 capsule lamp, sold separately. A warm-white LED G9 in the 2700K-3000K range works best with the natural alabaster, as cooler temperatures wash out the stone's warmth.

Does each alabaster cube look the same?

No. Each cube is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, translucency and tonal variation are unique to each piece. This is a feature of the natural material rather than a defect.

Can the Norevia be installed in a row above an island?

Yes. The 250mm disc diameter is compact enough to install two or three Norevia pendants in a row above a kitchen island or longer dining table. As a guide, allow roughly 600-800mm spacing between pendants and 700-800mm above the worktop or table.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid water, household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners, as these can mark or dull the stone surface.
