Nyxara LED Tiered Alabaster Pendant Light - Soft White & Matt Black

The Nyxara is a single tiered pendant light built from a horizontal Spanish alabaster disc pierced by a vertical ribbed metal core in matt black. The 280mm alabaster disc sits centrally on the core, with a polished black sphere capping the upper section where the suspension cable enters. An integrated 4W LED at 3000K is concealed within the structure, casting warm light down through the alabaster and across the ribbed metalwork.

Designed as a sculptural single pendant for dining tables, kitchen islands, hallways and bedside positions, the Nyxara works at scale where a fitting needs visual presence without a multi-light cluster. The 150mm height of the body keeps the pendant compact enough for rooms with standard 2.4m ceilings, and the suspension cable can be shortened on installation to set the disc 700-800mm above a dining surface or higher in a circulation space.

The alabaster disc is cut from natural Spanish stone, so each piece shows different veining, tonal variation and density across its surface. When the LED is on, these variations become visible as the stone diffuses light through its thickness and around the crisp circular edge. The ribbed black core adds vertical texture that contrasts with the horizontal disc, while the matt finish keeps reflections low and sharpens the glow of the alabaster.

Does the Nyxara need a separate bulb?

No. The pendant has an integrated 4W LED rated at 3000K (warm white) running on 230V mains, concealed within the structure. There is no separate lamp socket and no bulb to source.

Is each alabaster disc identical?

No. The disc is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect, and is most visible once the LED is switched on.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The body is only 150mm tall, so the Nyxara works in rooms with standard 2.4m ceilings as well as taller spaces. The suspension cable can be shortened on installation to set the disc 700-800mm above a dining table or kitchen island, or higher in hallways and circulation areas.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe the disc gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners, and do not soak the stone with water.
