Designed as decorative ambient lighting for kitchen islands, dining nooks, hallways and bedside positions, the Ophira works well in clusters of two or three at varied drops above a longer surface, or as a single fitting over a small breakfast bar. The compact 220mm diameter suits rooms where a larger pendant would dominate, and the alabaster shade casts soft downlight through the lower aperture while glowing from within across the disc itself.

Each disc and upper section is cut from natural alabaster, so the veining, mineral inclusions and translucency vary between individual pieces. Lit from within by an E14 bulb (sold separately), the stone reveals internal patterns that stay hidden when the lamp is off. The matt black cable and lamp holder detail frame the pale stone without competing with it, keeping the focus on the alabaster itself.

What bulb does the Ophira take?

The pendant uses a single E14 (small Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. A warm-white LED golf-ball or candle bulb between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K pairs well with the natural alabaster and gives a soft ambient glow.

Is it dimmable?

The fitting itself does not include a driver, so dimming depends on the bulb you fit and the dimmer module on your circuit. A dimmable LED E14 paired with a compatible LED trailing-edge dimmer is the typical route.

Yes. Each disc and upper section is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect, and becomes most visible when the lamp is lit.
