Oria LED Linear Alabaster Chandelier 1m - Brass

The Oria is a 1m linear pendant light built around a continuous cylindrical body of natural Spanish alabaster, finished with brass end caps and a brass collar at the central join. An integrated 40W LED running the length of the stone casts warm 3000K light through the alabaster, turning the entire 1m cylinder into a soft, even line of illumination rather than a series of point sources.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and long reception desks, the Oria suits installations where a horizontal sweep of light is wanted. The 1m length pairs well with islands and tables in the 1.4-2m range, hung 700-800mm above the worktop. Two slender suspension cables hold the fitting level, and the 1m cable drop is adjustable on installation to suit ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards.

The alabaster is cut from solid Spanish stone with 80mm diameter and shows natural veining and tonal variation along its length, so no two Oria pendants are identically. Brass detailing at the ends and the central collar gives the stone a defined frame without competing with it, and the 80mm slim projection from the ceiling line keeps the fitting visually low-profile despite its 1m horizontal reach. The solid copper internal structure carries the weight of the stone while the brass-finished hardware sits flush with the alabaster.

What size island or dining table does the Oria suit?

The 1m length works best above kitchen islands and dining tables in the 1.4-2m range, hung 700-800mm above the worktop or table surface. For longer islands consider hanging two Oria fittings end-to-end, or a longer linear pendant.

Is the LED dimmable?

The Oria uses an integrated 40W LED at 3000K on 230V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model, so please contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm.

Does the alabaster vary between pieces?

Yes. Each cylinder is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual pieces. This is a characteristic of the natural stone, not a defect, and becomes most visible when the LED is lit.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners.
