Orivelle Small Vertical Alabaster LED Wall Light - Brushed Bronze

The Orivelle is a 560mm vertical alabaster wall light built around a slim cylindrical panel of natural Spanish alabaster, capped at top and bottom with rounded brushed bronze end pieces and mounted on a concealed bronze back plate. An integrated 3000K LED behind the stone casts warm light through the alabaster itself, turning the panel into the diffuser rather than directing light past it.

Designed for hallways, stairwells, bedrooms and bathrooms outside the immediate splash zone, the Orivelle works either as a single fitting beside a doorway or in pairs flanking a bed, mirror or piece of artwork. The 80mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting close to the surface, suiting narrow corridors and circulation spaces where a deeper sconce would intrude. The slim 120mm width allows the light to sit comfortably between architectural features.

Each alabaster panel is cut from natural stone, so the veining, cloudy mineral patterns and subtle tonal shifts differ between individual pieces. The brushed bronze caps and rear support give the fitting weight at top and bottom while letting the stone read as the dominant element. The combination of warm bronze metalwork and soft 3000K light through alabaster pairs cleanly with neutral plaster, panelled walls and warm-toned timber finishes.

Does the Orivelle come with a bulb?

Yes. The light source is an integrated LED rated at 3000K (warm white) on 230V mains, so no separate bulb is needed. The LED is built into the fitting and is not user-replaceable.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

The Orivelle does not carry a published IP rating, so it is intended for general indoor use rather than zoned bathroom installation. It can be used in a bathroom outside the immediate splash zones (Zones 0, 1 and 2), subject to the installing electrician's assessment.

Will the alabaster vary between pieces?

Yes. Each panel is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, cloudiness and tonal variation differ between individual lights. This is a characteristic of the natural material rather than a defect, and it becomes especially visible when the LED is lit.

How is the fitting mounted to the wall?

The Orivelle mounts on a concealed bronze back plate that hides the wiring and fixings, giving an uninterrupted appearance once installed. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician on a standard 230V mains circuit.
