Orlina 3 Light Globe Alabaster Floor Lamp - Soft White

The Orlina is a 3 light alabaster floor lamp built around three natural Spanish alabaster globes — a 300mm main sphere paired with a 150mm and a 100mm secondary globe — held in a tiered arrangement on a slender soft white metal frame. The largest globe takes a single E27 bulb, while the two smaller globes each house a G9 capsule (bulbs sold separately), giving three independent points of warm, stone-diffused light.

Designed as a sculptural floor lamp for living rooms, lounges and reading corners, the Orlina provides ambient light rather than directional task lighting. The three globes sit at staggered heights, casting soft pools of light across the lower half of a room and lifting the corner of a sofa or armchair without the glare of an exposed bulb. The slim soft white frame keeps the visual focus on the alabaster itself.

Each globe is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining and tonal variation differ from piece to piece — the larger sphere typically shows more pronounced honey-toned banding, while the smaller globes can range from near-white to softly clouded cream. When unlit, the globes read as pale stone against the white frame; when switched on, the alabaster glows from within and the internal veining becomes visible as warm shadow patterns.

What bulbs does the Orlina take?

The lamp uses one E27 bulb in the 300mm main globe and two G9 capsule bulbs in the 150mm and 100mm globes. Bulbs are sold separately. For the warmest stone-diffused effect, pair with 2700K-3000K warm white LEDs in both fittings.

Does the alabaster vary between pieces?

Yes. Each globe is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, tonal banding and translucency differ between individual pieces. The larger 300mm sphere often shows more pronounced honey-toned veining, while the smaller globes can range from near-white to softly clouded cream. This is a feature of the natural stone.

Is the Orlina dimmable?

The lamp itself does not include an inline dimmer. Dimming depends on the bulbs fitted and the wall switch or plug-in dimmer used. Choose dimmable LED bulbs in both the E27 and G9 sockets and pair with a compatible LED dimmer for stepped or smooth control.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe each globe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners on the surface.
