Orlisse LED Sculpted Alabaster Wall Light - Brushed Bronze

The Orlisse is a 380mm sculpted wall light built around an upright tapered shade of natural Spanish alabaster, set into an oval brushed bronze backplate that wraps around the stone. The integrated LED behind the alabaster casts warm 3000K light through the shade, while a small bronze finial at the base finishes the form. Width is 210mm and projection from the wall is 140mm.

The fitting suits hallways, stairwells, bedrooms and living rooms where directional uplight or accent lighting is needed alongside a strong sculptural element on the wall. The 140mm projection keeps it close enough to circulation routes to avoid catching shoulders, and the 380mm height pairs comfortably with eye-level mounting between 1.5m and 1.7m above the floor. Hard-wired to a standard 230V mains supply and switched from the wall circuit.

Each alabaster shade is cut from a different section of stone, so internal clouding, mineral veining and tonal warmth vary between individual pieces. The brushed bronze backplate carries a hand-applied finish with subtle mottling and patina across the surface, giving the metal genuine depth rather than a uniform plated look. The contrast between the soft, glowing white stone and the darker textured bronze is the defining feature of the design.

Is the Orlisse dimmable?

The integrated LED runs on 230V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model, so please contact us before pairing the fitting with a dimmer circuit to confirm.

Does each alabaster shade look the same?

No. The shade is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so each piece shows different veining, clouding and tonal variation when lit. This is a feature of the natural material rather than a defect.

How much does it project from the wall?

The fitting projects 140mm from the wall surface, with an overall height of 380mm and width of 210mm. The shallow projection suits hallways and stairwells without intruding into circulation space.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe the shade gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners, and do not soak the stone with water.
