Selune 1 Light Sculpted Core Alabaster Table Lamp - Brushed Brass

The Selune is a 630mm alabaster table lamp built around a rectangular Spanish alabaster body with a polished agate slice set into its centre. A brushed brass stem rises from the alabaster core to support a soft white rectangular fabric shade, and the whole piece sits on a stepped brushed brass plinth. A single E27 lamp inside the shade casts diffused light downward while a secondary glow passes through the agate inset, lighting the stone from within.

Designed for bedside tables, sideboards, console tables and dressing tables, the Selune works as a decorative accent and a soft ambient light source rather than a task lamp. The 400mm shade length and 250mm depth give it enough presence on a sideboard or hallway console without crowding smaller bedside surfaces. The E27 fitting accepts standard LED, halogen or filament bulbs (sold separately), so the colour temperature and output can be matched to the room.

The alabaster body shows natural clouded veining that becomes more visible when the lamp is lit, and the agate inset is unique to each piece — the banding, ring patterns and translucency vary from one slice of stone to the next. Brushed brass detailing on the stem, shade fitting and stepped base picks up warm tones in the alabaster and pairs comfortably with both traditional and contemporary interiors. What bulb does the Selune take?

The lamp uses a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. A warm-white LED between 6-9W and 2700K-3000K suits the soft white shade and keeps the alabaster glow consistent with the brass tones.

Does the agate slice vary between pieces?

Yes. The central agate inset is a natural stone slice, so the colour banding, ring patterns and translucency differ between individual lamps. The same applies to the alabaster body, which shows unique veining when illuminated.

How is the alabaster cleaned?
