Serava LED Alabaster Wall Light Large - Soft White

The Serava is a 600mm alabaster wall light built around a single elongated oval ring carved from natural Spanish alabaster, fixed to the wall through a matt black cylindrical bracket at the top. An integrated 3000K LED runs inside the alabaster body, turning the stone itself into the diffuser and producing a continuous loop of warm light that traces the full outline of the piece.

At 600mm tall by 150mm wide with a 55mm projection, the Serava sits flat enough to suit hallways, stairwells and bedside positions where deeper wall fittings would feel intrusive. The slim profile makes it a workable choice for low-ceiling rooms where ceiling-mounted lighting reduces headroom. The matt black bracket fixes to a standard wall back box and supports the alabaster ring on a single connection point, leaving the stone to read as a free-floating shape against the wall.

Each ring is cut from solid Spanish alabaster, so the veining, cloudy zones and tonal variation differ between individual pieces. The soft white finish of the stone takes on a warm honey tone when lit, and the natural translucency varies across the body, giving subtle bright and dimmer regions around the loop rather than uniform illumination. The integrated LED runs on 230V mains and is rated at 3000K, producing a warm white output suited to living spaces and bedrooms.

Does each alabaster piece look the same?

No. Each ring is carved from solid Spanish alabaster, so veining, cloudy zones and tonal variation are different on every piece. The natural variation becomes more visible when the LED is on, with subtle brighter and dimmer regions around the loop. This is a feature of the natural stone, not a defect.

Is the Serava suitable for bathrooms?

The Serava does not have a stated IP rating in the specification, so it should be installed in dry indoor locations only. Hallways, stairwells, bedrooms and living rooms are suitable. It is not suitable for shower zones or directly above a bath.

Can the LED be replaced?

The LED is integrated into the alabaster body and is not user-replaceable. The fitting carries a 2-year warranty covering the LED and components under normal domestic use.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth to remove dust. Avoid household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners, and do not soak the stone with water, as the surface can absorb moisture and stain.
