Solvane LED Alabaster Linear Chandelier 1m - Brass

The Solvane is a 1000mm linear pendant light built around a row of carved Spanish alabaster petals mounted along a slim brass bar. Twelve petal-shaped stone pieces sit in close sequence above the bar, with an integrated LED running 3000K warm white light through the alabaster from within. The fitting drops from a rectangular brass canopy on two slender brass rods, giving an overall height of 850mm and a depth of 260mm.

Designed as an island or dining pendant, the 1m length suits kitchen islands of 1.4-2m and dining tables seating six to eight. The brass canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses and the twin-rod suspension is rigid rather than chain, holding the bar level once installed. Mounting height is typically 750-850mm above an island worktop or 800mm above a dining table, leaving sightlines across the surface unobstructed.

Each alabaster petal is cut from a solid block of natural Spanish stone, so veining, mineral inclusions and tonal variation differ from piece to piece across the row. The honed surface keeps the internal grain visible, and the petals show irregular outlines rather than uniform machined edges, so transitions between translucent and denser areas shift along the length when lit. The soft white finish on the bar and rods reads as a pale brass tone that warms against the cool stone.

What size island or dining table does the Solvane suit?

The 1000mm length works well above kitchen islands of 1.4-2m and dining tables seating six to eight. For longer runs, the Solvane is also produced in extended sizes, search the Solvane range for larger versions.

What's the recommended mounting height?

Above a kitchen island worktop, hang the bar 750-850mm clear of the surface. Above a dining table, around 800mm clear of the table top is standard. The twin brass rods are rigid, so the drop is set during installation rather than being adjustable on a chain.

Will the alabaster petals look identical?

No. Each petal is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, tonal variation, mineral inclusions and translucency differ between pieces. The variation is part of the material's character and is visible most clearly when the LED is lit.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LED is integrated rather than a swappable bulb. The 2-year warranty covers the LED module against failure within the warranty period. The fitting runs on standard 230V UK mains.
