Solvane LED Small Petal Alabaster Chandelier - Soft White & Brass

The Solvane is a 600mm circular alabaster chandelier built around a brushed brass ring, with hand-carved Spanish alabaster petals arranged in a continuous radial sequence. An integrated 3000K LED runs inside the ring and casts warm light through the stone petals, which double as the diffuser. The fitting suspends from a circular brass canopy on four fine steel cables, giving the impression that the alabaster ring floats below the ceiling.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands, lounges and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.6m or higher, the Solvane works as both ambient and decorative lighting. The 600mm diameter suits tables and islands between 1.2m and 1.8m long, and the suspension cables can be shortened on installation to set the chandelier 700-800mm above a dining surface. Mains 230V wiring runs through the canopy and connects to a standard UK ceiling rose.

Each alabaster petal is cut from solid natural stone, so veining, clouding and translucency vary between pieces. The petals are honed rather than polished, leaving a soft matt surface that lets the internal structure of the alabaster show when lit. Overlapping edges and varied thicknesses create depth and shadow within the ring, while the warm brushed brass frame contrasts against the pale stone to define the silhouette from across a room.

The two-tier petal arrangement gives the Solvane a horizontal, low-profile presence rather than a tall traditional chandelier shape, making it a useful option for rooms where a deep drop would overwhelm the ceiling height. The integrated LED removes the need to source or replace bulbs, and the brushed brass finish softens reflections under both daylight and lamp light.

What size table or island does the 600mm Solvane suit?

The 600mm diameter works well above dining tables and kitchen islands between 1.2m and 1.8m long. For larger surfaces a wider chandelier or a pair of pendants is usually a better fit visually.

Is the Solvane dimmable?

The integrated LED runs on 230V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model and driver. Please contact us before pairing with a dimmer so we can confirm compatibility.

Does each chandelier look the same?

No. Each petal is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, clouding and translucency vary between individual stones. This is a feature of the natural material, not a defect, and means no two Solvane chandeliers are identical when lit.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Dust the petals gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners, and do not soak the stone, as moisture can mark the surface.
