Solyra 15 Light 4 Tier Alabaster Petal Chandelier - Brushed Brass

The Solyra is a 600mm-diameter, 750mm-tall chandelier built from four descending tiers of natural Spanish alabaster discs mounted on a brushed brass frame. Fifteen E14 lamps (sold separately) sit inside the cage, lighting the stone from within so the rounded petals glow warm white at the edges and reveal their mineral veining across the face of each disc.

Designed for double-height entrance halls, stairwells, formal dining rooms and large lounges, the Solyra suits ceilings of 3m or higher where the four-tier silhouette can be read in full. Suspension is by brass chain from a matching brass canopy, and the chain length can be shortened on installation to set the chandelier roughly 2.1-2.3m above floor level over a dining table or 2.4m above general circulation space.

Each alabaster disc is cut and polished individually, so tonal depth, veining patterns and translucency vary between petals. The discs are pinned to the radial brass arms with small brass studs, leaving the stone edges visible and giving the fitting its layered, scaled profile. The combined mass of fifteen E14 lamps produces substantial output for a room of this scale, while the alabaster softens the light into a diffused warm wash rather than direct glare.

What bulbs does the Solyra take?

The chandelier uses fifteen E14 (small Edison screw) lamps, sold separately. Most installers pair it with warm white LED candle bulbs at 2700K-3000K, around 4-6W each, to keep total draw low while matching the warm tone of the alabaster.

What ceiling height does it suit?

At 750mm tall before the suspension chain, the Solyra is best suited to ceilings of 3m or above. It works particularly well in double-height halls, stairwells and over large dining tables. The chain can be shortened on installation to set the correct drop for the room.

Does each alabaster disc look identical?

No. Every disc is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, density and translucency vary between petals. The variation becomes more visible when the chandelier is lit and is part of the character of natural stone rather than a defect.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Dust the discs with a dry, soft microfibre cloth or a soft brush. Avoid water, household sprays and chemical cleaners, as moisture and detergents can mark or dull the surface of the stone.
