Description
The Sorrelis is a 9-light chandelier built around nine tapered shades cut from natural Spanish alabaster, each suspended on a slender black cable from a circular brushed brass ceiling plate. The shades hang at staggered heights within an 1800mm overall drop, with each 160mm-diameter cone holding an E14 lamp (sold separately) that lights the stone from within.
The cluster format suits stairwells, double-height entrance halls and tall voids above dining tables where a single chandelier would feel undersized. The staggered drops draw the eye downward through the arrangement, so the fitting reads well from above on a landing as well as from below. Cable lengths can be shortened on installation to suit lower ceilings or to tighten the cluster into a more compact arrangement.
Each alabaster cone shows its own pattern of mineral veining and tonal shift, so the nine shades vary individually rather than matching as a set. The brushed brass canopy picks up the warmth of the stone when the lamps are lit and softens to a quieter metallic tone when they are off. With nine E14 sockets the fitting can be tuned with different bulb wattages and colour temperatures to balance ambient light against the decorative glow of the stone.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Sorrelis take?
Nine E14 (small Edison screw) lamps are required, sold separately. Most buyers fit warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K, which complement the natural warmth of the alabaster without overpowering the veining.
What ceiling height does it need?
The overall drop is 1800mm, which suits stairwells, voids and double-height entrance halls. For standard ceilings the cables can be shortened on installation to reduce the drop and tighten the cluster.
Will the alabaster shades look identical?
No. Each cone is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, translucency and tonal variation differ between the nine shades. This is a feature of the natural stone, not a defect, and gives the cluster its individual character when lit.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Wipe the shades with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid water, household sprays and chemical cleaners, as alabaster is porous and softer than marble and can be marked by liquid or solvents.
