Strata LED Large Alabaster Ring Chandelier - Copper

The Strata is a 1000mm alabaster ring chandelier built around a low-profile circular band of natural Spanish alabaster panels framed in polished copper. The ring measures just 85mm in height, giving the fitting a strong horizontal presence without a deep vertical drop. Four slim steel suspension cables connect the ring to a compact copper ceiling canopy, and an integrated 3000K LED is concealed within the band to wash the alabaster from inside.

The shallow profile suits open-plan kitchens, dining rooms and lounges with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards, where a wide horizontal fitting reads better than a tall pendant. Above a dining table the ring typically sits 750-850mm above the surface, and the suspension cables can be shortened on installation to set the precise drop. The integrated LED removes the need for separate bulbs and keeps the underside of the ring clean when viewed from below.

Each alabaster panel is cut from natural Spanish stone, so the veining, mineral patterning and translucency vary across the circumference. The polished copper bands between panels divide the ring into evenly spaced segments and frame the top and bottom edges, giving a crisp metallic outline against the glowing stone. Stainless steel structural elements sit behind the copper to carry the load of the 1m ring while keeping the visible profile slim.

What size room does the Strata suit?

The 1m diameter ring works best in larger rooms — open-plan kitchens, dining areas seating six or more, and lounges of around 4m x 4m or larger. Above a dining table, allow at least 300mm of clearance from each edge of the table to the ring.

Is the integrated LED replaceable?

The LED is integrated into the chandelier rather than being a separate bulb, so it is not user-replaceable in the way a standard E27 or G9 lamp would be. The 2-year warranty covers the LED module against failure.

How does the alabaster vary between pieces?

Each panel is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, tonal variation and translucency differ from panel to panel and from one chandelier to another. This is a feature of the natural stone, not a defect, and becomes most visible when the LED is lit.

Can the drop be adjusted?

Yes. The slim steel suspension cables can be shortened on installation to set the chandelier at the correct height for the ceiling and the surface below. Above a dining table, 750-850mm above the tabletop is a typical setting.
